12公尺常綠灌木或小喬木；枝條直展，樹冠尖塔形或圓錐形；樹皮薄，赤褐色，圓形的果實在未成熟前為綠色，葉子三葉輪生。

香氣速寫下雨過後的木棧道，陳舊木頭味，小木屋，酒窖，木桶子，果香。
